Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France.

  • It was created by Gustave Eiffel.
  • Its height is 300 meters, 324 meters to tip.
  • Construction of this magnificent tower started on 28 January 1887.
  • It weighs approximately 10,000 tonnes.
  • It was built to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution and to demonstrate France's industrial prowess to the world.
  • It attracts around 7million people annually, making it the most visited paid-for monument in the world.
