Shimla
Located at an altitude of 2159 meters above sea level, Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is also the largest city in the state. Surrounded by green pastures and snow-capped peaks, Shimla is known as the "Queen of Hills".
The best way to reach Shimla is by toy train from Kalka. Visit between March and June. During these months the temperature will be between 15°C and 30°C. You can enjoy many outdoor activities in pleasant weather.

Located at an elevation of 2,250 meters, Chail was the summer capital of the princely state of Patiala. This quiet hill-station is tucked in the lap of nature.
